Fosun Pharma Buys Back 72,000 H-Shares for HKD 1.27 Million, Lifts Treasury Stock to 22.27 Million Shares

Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. (Fosun Pharma) disclosed that it repurchased 72,000 H-shares on 24 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 17.59 to HKD 17.67, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 17.63 per share and an aggregate consideration of HKD 1.27 million.

Post-transaction, Fosun Pharma’s outstanding H-shares (excluding treasury shares) fell marginally by 0.01% to 529.67 million, while treasury shares increased to 22.27 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 551.94 million.

The buyback was executed under the share repurchase mandate approved on 16 June 2026, which authorises the company to acquire up to 54.10 million shares. Including the latest purchase, Fosun Pharma has repurchased 11.30 million shares, representing 2.09% of its issued share base at the time the mandate was granted. The company is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 24 October 2026, in line with Hong Kong listing regulations.
