Three agricultural products from our city have been included in the national list of famous, special, excellent and new agricultural products.

The Center for Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently released the second batch of the 2026 national list of famous, special, excellent and new agricultural products, and three products from Neiqiu County were selected: wild jujube seed kernels, wild jujube seed kernel powder and wild jujube sprout tea.

Nationally recognized famous, special, excellent and new agricultural products refer to green and organic high-quality agricultural products that are produced within a specific region, have a certain production scale and commercial volume, possess distinctive regional characteristics and unique nutritional quality, enjoy high public awareness and reputation, and are approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

As a core authentic production area for wild jujube seed kernels, Neiqiu County has accelerated the development of the entire wild jujube industry chain. The county's artificially planted wild jujube area has reached 100,000 mu, it has built the country's first GAP planting base for wild jujube, and its processing volume of wild jujube seed kernels accounts for more than 70% of the national total.

Relying on its exceptional resources of traditional Chinese medicinal materials, the county has continued to develop medicinal food products such as wild jujube seed kernel powder and wild jujube sprout tea, extending the industry chain and raising added value.

In recent years, our city has deeply tapped into its regionally distinctive agricultural product resources, cultivating three advantageous areas for Chinese specialty agricultural products — Neiqiu Fugang apples, Julu honeysuckle and Xingtai wild jujube — along with 10 national-level key leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization and 11 national strong towns for the agricultural industry.

Up to now, the city has a total of 29 agricultural products listed in the national directory of famous, special, excellent and new agricultural products, and 26 agricultural products listed in the national directory of specialty agricultural products, with the number of selected products ranking second in the province in both categories. The brand influence and market recognition of high-quality agricultural products have continued to strengthen.
