China Carbon Neutral Development Warns of FY2026 Net Loss Up to HK$200 Million on One-Off Debt Restructuring Charge

China Carbon Neutral Development Group Limited has issued a profit warning, indicating it expects to post a consolidated net loss of between HK$160.00 million and HK$200.00 million for the financial year ended 30 June 2026. The anticipated shortfall contrasts with a HK$10.30 million loss recorded in FY2025.

The company attributes the projected deficit primarily to an estimated HK$190.00 million one-off, non-operating loss on debt restructuring. Excluding this exceptional item, management forecasts a modest profit of HK$2.00 million to HK$8.00 million for FY2026, versus a HK$9.50 million loss (excluding goodwill impairment) in the previous year.

Management emphasised that the figures stem from a preliminary review of unaudited management accounts and remain subject to audit and board audit-committee review. Final annual results are scheduled for release on 30 September 2026.

The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares until the audited results are announced.
