China's First Deepwater Oilfield Liuhua Achieves New Breakthrough

According to CCTV, during this National Day holiday, China's deepwater oilfield has achieved a new breakthrough in oil production.

Today, China's first deepwater oilfield, the Liuhua Oilfield, saw its secondary development project's cumulative crude oil production surpass 2 million tonnes.

As of now, the oilfield has produced over 40 million tonnes of crude oil, with daily output reaching a new high since it began production 22 years ago, providing solid support for safeguarding the nation's energy security.
