In response to the challenges of an aging population and to strengthen the community-based home care service network, Tanghai Town is actively exploring a new public-private partnership model for elderly care operations. By leveraging the expertise of the Rende Home-Based Elderly Care Center, a new daytime care service station has been established within the Borui Gongguan Community in Caofeidian District, effectively bridging the final gap in home-based elderly care services and enhancing the sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security for local senior residents.

The daytime care service station is designed to address the daily needs and health and leisure requirements of the elderly, creating a diversified home-care service offering. It features a meal assistance canteen that provides scientifically balanced meals prepared with low-salt, low-sugar, and low-oil standards. Additionally, interest classes under a senior university program have been launched to enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of older adults. Physiotherapy services are available for body conditioning, while cultural tourism activities and traditional culture reading clubs encourage seniors to cultivate positive values and aesthetic appreciation. The station comprehensively caters to the diverse needs of the elderly, covering dining, leisure, entertainment, health maintenance, and tourism.

While providing daytime care services for the elderly, the station is also proactively expanding its role by offering a "Heartwarming Station" open to the general public. Outdoor workers such as sanitation staff, food delivery couriers, express delivery drivers, and ride-hailing drivers are welcome to stop by and rest at any time. They can enjoy free drinking water when thirsty, charge their phones when batteries run low, take a seat when tired, and seek shelter from wind and rain during inclement weather. A simple stool, a cup of hot water, and a sheltered corner deliver considerate care in the smallest details, allowing hardworking outdoor laborers to feel the warmth of the community. This initiative turns the elderly care station into a citywide hub of compassion that serves people of all ages.
