Midea Group Executes RMB169.74 Million A-Share Buyback; Updates Share Capital After Option Exercise and H-Share Repurchase

Midea Group Co., Ltd. announced several share capital movements dated 23 September 2026:

1. A-Share Buyback • 2.06 million A shares were repurchased on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange for treasury purposes. • Purchase price ranged between RMB 82.13 and RMB 82.81 per share, with total consideration of RMB 169.74 million, implying an average cost of roughly RMB 82.42 per share.

2. A-Share Option Exercise • 83,013 new A shares were issued upon exercise of options under the Ninth Stock Option Incentive Plan at RMB 41.44 per share, adding RMB 3.44 million to share capital.

3. Resulting A-Share Structure • Issued A shares (excluding treasury) decreased to 6.80072 billion, a net reduction of 1.98 million shares, or 0.029 %. • Treasury A shares rose to 178.24 million. • Total A shares outstanding—including treasury—stood virtually unchanged at 6.97896 billion.

4. H-Share Buyback • 23,900 H shares were repurchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for the H-Share Award Scheme at HKD 96.30 per share, totaling HKD 2.30 million. • Treasury H shares increased to 423,900, while issued H shares (excluding treasury) edged down to 650.42 million. • Year-to-date H-share repurchases under the 5 June 2026 mandate total 423,900 shares, equating to 0.065 % of the issued share base at the mandate date.

All transactions were authorised by the board and executed in compliance with applicable regulations, as confirmed in the filing signed by Chairman and CEO Fang Hongbo.
