FIH Mobile repurchases 146,000 shares for HKD 2.29 million, lifts treasury stock to 5.33 million

FIH Mobile Limited disclosed that it repurchased 146,000 ordinary shares on 17 September 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

• Purchase details: The shares were bought at prices ranging between HKD 15.50 and HKD 15.85, translating to a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 15.68 per share. The aggregate consideration was approximately HKD 2.29 million.

• Impact on share capital: – Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) declined to 783.12 million from 783.26 million, a reduction of 0.01864%. – Treasury shares increased to 5.33 million, bringing total issued shares (including treasury shares) to 788.45 million.

• Mandate utilisation: The repurchase forms part of the mandate authorised on 22 May 2026, which permits buybacks of up to 78.27 million shares. To date, FIH Mobile has repurchased 2.66 million shares under this authority, equivalent to 0.34% of the company’s issued share count at the mandate date.

• Regulatory considerations: In line with Hong Kong listing rules, FIH Mobile is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or selling/ transferring treasury shares following the latest repurchase, effective until 17 October 2026.

The company has confirmed that all repurchases complied with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board regulations and that no repurchased shares have been cancelled; they remain classified as treasury shares.
