Nasdaq Opens Higher as Tech Shares Rise; Netflix Jumps over 2%, SMMT Surges 16%

The Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 rose Tuesday as U.S. Treasury yields and oil prices moved lower, giving equities a much-needed reprieve.
Tech stocks led the way higher, with AMD's gains coming after it announced the acquisition of AI firm World Labs. Meta Platforms also advanced 1.1%. Netflix jumps over 2%, Meta and SpaceX rise over 1%.
SMMT surged more than 16% after receiving a $2 billion investment from pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca.
