JF SmartInvest Holdings Ltd announced in a Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 29 September 2026 that it repurchased 73,100 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day.
The buy-back represents 0.0158% of the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares), trimming the outstanding share count from 462.79 million to 462.72 million. Correspondingly, treasury shares increased from 5.56 million to 5.64 million, while the total issued share capital remained unchanged at 468.36 million shares.
Shares were acquired on-market at prices ranging between HK$28.50 and HK$29.22, with a volume-weighted average of approximately HK$28.89. Aggregate consideration totalled HK$2.11 million.
The transaction was executed under the share-repurchase mandate approved by shareholders on 18 June 2026, which authorises buybacks of up to 46.41 million shares. Including the latest purchase, JF SmartInvest has repurchased 1.57 million shares to date, equivalent to 0.34% of the issued share base on the mandate’s reference date.
Pursuant to Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 29 October 2026. The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable regulatory requirements, and the acquired shares are being held as treasury stock with no cancellations recorded as of the reporting date.
