On September 25, 2026, Morgan Stanley disposed of 16.49 million H shares of BIREN TECH (06082) by returning borrowed shares under a securities lending agreement. This transaction was an off-exchange transaction and not a direct dealing on the SEHK open market. As a result, Morgan Stanley's long position ratio fell below the 5% notifiable threshold.
Prior to the disposal, Morgan Stanley's long position in BIREN TECH was 82.94 million shares, representing 6.12%; following the return of borrowed shares, the holding changed to 66.45 million shares, with the long position ratio falling to 4.9%.
