On the news front, as a core optical communication enterprise under Hisense Group, LIGENT is a rare full-stack solution provider in the industry that possesses both independent R&D and large-scale mass production capabilities for AI interconnect optical chips and high-speed optical modules. The company is one of the first domestic manufacturers to successfully develop and mass-produce 800G and 1.6T optical modules. Its LPO and LRO optical modules have achieved mass production in 2025 and the first quarter of this year respectively. The 3.2T NPO optical engine has delivered samples for customer verification, and the company continues to advance the development of 6.4T NPO optical engines and 12.8T XPO optical modules. The company also possesses independent R&D and production capabilities for optical chips such as DFB, CW-DFB, and EML.

Hisense Visual Technology, through its controlling stake in Genzhao Optoelectronics, has positioned itself in optical chips and CPO technology, forming potential technological complementarity with LIGENT's optical module business.
