NWDS CHINA (00825) has issued an announcement stating that, based on the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Company for the fiscal year ended 30 June 2026 (FY2026) and the preliminary assessment of information currently available to the Board, compared with the profit attributable to shareholders of the Company of approximately HK$25.3 million for the fiscal year ended 30 June 2025, the Group expects to record a loss attributable to shareholders of the Company of no more than approximately HK$780 million for FY2026.
The Group expects to turn from profit to loss in FY2026, primarily due to the after-tax impact of approximately HK$792 million arising from goodwill impairment losses and fair value losses on investment properties.
