According to Zhitong Finance APP, EDGE MEDICAL-B (02675) rose more than 5% in the afternoon session, up 4.79% as of press time to HK$36.44, with a turnover of HK$4.1358 million.

On the news front, according to the official WeChat account of EDGE Medical, the company's global commercialization process recently reached a major milestone breakthrough 鈥?its independently developed Edge® multiport endoscopic surgical robot completed commercial installation at Singapore's Farrer Park Hospital (FPH) and was successfully put into clinical use.

This is not only the first endoscopic robot introduced by the hospital, but also the first Chinese-brand endoscopic robot brought into Singapore's healthcare system, breaking the competitive landscape of Singapore's surgical robot market in one stroke and marking a landmark moment for Chinese surgical robots entering the Asia-Pacific high-end medical market.

It is worth noting that the Edge robot's deployment at FPH and the successful completion of its first surgery made it the first Chinese-brand endoscopic surgical robot to achieve commercial installation in Singapore.

As of now, the Edge multiport endoscopic surgical robot has obtained market access in more than 60 countries and regions worldwide, with overseas installations covering multiple regions including Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.
