Major OPEC+ member countries have agreed to keep production quotas unchanged for next month, as the Middle East conflict continues to halt a significant portion of the alliance's oil production.
In a statement, OPEC said that a group of seven member countries led by Saudi Arabia and Russia held a monthly video conference on Sunday and will keep production targets unchanged for November.
This aligns with its current production policy roadmap.
According to Sunday's statement, the seven-country group will hold another online meeting on November 1, when it may finalize plans for December.
