HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) reported the repurchase and cancellation of 817,400 ordinary shares on 17 September 2026 under the share buy-back programme launched on 5 August 2026.

Transaction details • UK venues: 505,000 shares acquired at prices ranging from £15.1440 to £15.3260, with a volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of £15.1862. • Hong Kong Stock Exchange: 312,400 shares acquired at prices between HK$158.4000 and HK$160.3000, with a VWAP of HK$159.0793.

Cumulative programme progress • Total shares repurchased since 5 August 2026: 36.21 million. • Aggregate consideration: US$745.90 million. • Shares awaiting cancellation (Hong Kong repurchases): 4.01 million.

Capital structure update Following the cancellation of shares bought on UK venues, HSBC’s issued ordinary share capital and total voting rights stand at 17.15 billion. A separate notice will be released once the Hong Kong-traded shares have been cancelled.
