CITIC Bank Completes Issuance of First Tranche of 2026 Financial Bonds

According to a financial news report on September 22, China Citic Bank Corporation Limited announced that, with approval from the People's Bank of China, it has successfully issued the first tranche of its 2026 financial bonds in the national inter-bank bond market. The bonds were priced for issuance on September 21, 2026, and payment was completed on September 22, 2026.

The issuance scale of these bonds totals RMB 5 billion, featuring a three-year fixed interest rate with a coupon rate of 1.56%. The proceeds from the bond issuance will be utilized to optimize the bank's medium- and long-term asset-liability matching structure, increase stable medium- and long-term liability sources, and support the development of its medium- and long-term asset businesses.
