On September 24, CREALIGHTS rose 5.66% in regular trading, trading at 161.1 HKD/share, with turnover of approximately 65.48 million HKD, as the optical communication sector posted broad-based gains.

Multiple catalysts continue to drive the stock. Goldman Sachs recently raised its high-speed optical module demand forecasts significantly, lifting 800G-and-above module demand estimates for 2027 and 2028 by 39% and 36% respectively, to 144 million and 171 million units, while projecting 1.6T module prices to hold above $700. Separately, Nomura flagged a widening 1.6T DSP supply-demand gap, estimating demand of over 20 million units against supply of only 16-17 million in 2026, with the shortfall expanding to over 20 million units by 2027 as demand surges to 60-70 million units while supply reaches only 40-50 million.

The company previously showcased its full-stack in-house silicon photonics 1.6T optical module and 6.4T NPO products at the 27th China International Optoelectronic Exposition, and announced a long-term strategic partnership with GlobalFoundries to advance 6.4T NPO commercialization. Since its inclusion in the Stock Connect program on September 7, the stock has attracted sustained southbound capital inflows. Management has indicated high-speed optical module orders are booked through the entirety of 2027, with the industry in a state of abundant orders but constrained capacity.
