Keppel confirms talks with StarHub on potential M1 deal, stresses no certainty of transaction

Keppel Ltd. announced on Sep, 23 2026 that it is in ongoing discussions with StarHub Ltd regarding a possible transaction involving M1 Limited.
The company emphasised that the negotiations are still in progress and that there is no assurance any agreement will be reached. Keppel added that it remains focused on improving M1’s performance to enhance its strategic value ahead of any potential sector consolidation.
Keppel said it will update shareholders in line with Singapore Exchange listing rules and advised investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
