During the National Day holiday, Changchun Longjia International Airport experienced a peak in passenger flow. All officers and auxiliary police of the Airport Public Security Bureau under the Provincial Public Security Department were on duty and fully committed to their responsibilities, striving to safeguard the travel safety of the public.
Patrols in Key Areas and Visible Presence for Safety
The directly affiliated detachment focused on crowded locations, increasing patrol frequency in key areas such as departure and arrival halls. While conducting inspections to identify security risks, officers also actively paid attention to passenger needs. When encountering situations such as passengers getting lost, losing belongings, or feeling unwell, they promptly stepped in to handle and assist, ensuring that police officers, police vehicles, and police lights were visible, making travel more reassuring for passengers. The Public Security and Guard Detachment concentrated on maintaining order in the airport jurisdiction, launching special crackdown and rectification operations, with a focus on strictly investigating illegal activities such as soliciting passengers at terminal entrances and exits, parking lots, and underground passages. They showed zero tolerance for illegal operations of unlicensed vehicles and overcharging that infringe on passenger rights, regulating airport operation order and effectively protecting passengers' travel safety and lawful rights. The Traffic Management Detachment stood firm at key points including the terminal drop-off platform, Longjia High-Speed Railway Station, and parking lot entrances and exits. In response to heavy traffic and short-term congestion, they directed and channeled traffic on site, promptly persuaded illegally parked vehicles to leave, and quickly responded to passenger requests for help, ensuring safe and smooth road traffic at the airport. The Information Command Center maintained a 24-hour presence, using various platforms to carry out full-area video patrols, information analysis, and situational assessment, achieving seamless connection between online patrols and offline handling, issuing directives in a timely manner, coordinating the dispatch of frontline police forces, and enhancing rapid response capabilities for emergencies.
Emergency Standby and Readiness to Guard Against Risks
The smallest combat units remained fully combat-ready, routinely conducting safety hazard inspections across the airport area, carefully checking duty equipment, and always being prepared for emergency response. They kept a close watch on risks at key locations, achieving rapid response and efficient handling, firmly holding the bottom line of airport security.
