Hohhot Shengle International Airport has achieved a key development, with the handover of physical assets and operations and maintenance management taking place at the airport on October 1.

This event marks the official transition of Shengle International Airport from the engineering construction and organizational implementation phase into the decisive stage of relocation and inauguration.

Hohhot Shengle International Airport is a landmark major project for the civil aviation development of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Following the handover, the important task of operational preparation has been officially transferred to Hohhot Airport.

Hohhot Airport will rigorously carry out asset inventory checks, clarify boundaries of responsibility, and ensure the safety and integrity of state-owned assets.

It will also firmly consolidate safety responsibilities, improve operational contingency plans, and strengthen risk management and control.

In accordance with airport usage licensing requirements, the airport will rectify and close out items one by one, focusing on the difficulties of a "one-night relocation, remote relocation, winter relocation, and entirely new procedural facilities," while effectively advancing preparation work including hardware completion, system integration testing, and coordinated interfaces.

During the on-site event, the Hohhot Municipal Transportation Investment Group and Hohhot Airport signed a handover agreement and exchanged documents.
