Bama Tea Co., Ltd. disclosed that it repurchased 20,000 H shares on 29 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The buyback represents 0.02% of the company’s 83.61 million issued shares outstanding before the transaction.
The repurchased shares were acquired at prices ranging from HKD 28.02 to HKD 29.18 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 28.46. The aggregate cash outlay totalled HKD 0.57 million.
Following the transaction: • Total issued shares remained unchanged at 84.92 million. • Shares in public circulation (excluding treasury shares) declined to 83.59 million. • Treasury shares increased to 1.33 million.
The buyback was executed under the general mandate approved on 21 April 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 5.30 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.33 million shares, equivalent to 2.51% of the issued share capital on the mandate date, leaving a remaining capacity of approximately 3.97 million shares.
In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Bama Tea is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury stock, ending on 29 October 2026.
