BASiC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (BASICSEMI) disclosed that it bought back 50,000 H-shares on 28 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The repurchase was executed at prices ranging from HKD 40.28 to HKD 42.62 per share, for a volume-weighted aggregate consideration of HKD 2.06 million. The shares have been retained as treasury stock.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital, excluding treasury shares, decreased by 0.02% to 287.37 million shares. Treasury shares on hand rose to 164,800, while the total issued share count (including treasury shares) remained unchanged at 287.53 million.
The buyback falls within the authority granted by shareholders on 28 August 2026, which permits the repurchase of up to 28.75 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 164,800 shares, equivalent to 0.06% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date. In accordance with listing rules, BASICSEMI is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or disposals of treasury shares until 28 October 2026.
The company affirmed that all repurchases complied with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and the terms of its August explanatory statement.
