On the news front, according to reports, Samsung Electro-Mechanics is in the final stage of negotiations with global power and electronic component companies to sign a long-term supply agreement (LTA) for AI server MLCC worth approximately KRW 700 billion. If the contract is successfully signed, the cumulative scale of silicon capacitors and AI server MLCC LTAs obtained by Samsung Electro-Mechanics over the past four months is expected to exceed KRW 4 trillion.
Huafu Securities believes that Samsung Electro-Mechanics signing long-term agreements reflects a prolonged tight supply trend, with AI servers transforming cyclical beta into structural alpha.
In the first half of this year, CCTC achieved revenue of RMB 6.423 billion, a year-on-year increase of 54.82%; net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 1.932 billion, a year-on-year increase of 56.18%. The company's interim report disclosed that in the first half, MLCC benefited from improved customer recognition and industry prosperity, with some specifications seeing prices recover to their original reasonable value, and both sales volume and sales revenue achieving significant year-on-year growth.
