Transsion Holdings (688036.SH), the "King of African Phones," Reportedly to Kick Off Hong Kong Listing Promotion Next Week, Aiming to Raise $400-500 Million

Citing people familiar with the matter, media reports say that "King of African Phones" Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Co.,Ltd. (688036.SH) plans to launch a pre-marketing roadshow next week for its Hong Kong listing, targeting $400 million to $500 million.

On June 18 this year, Transsion Holdings filed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for a second time, with CITIC Securities as its sole sponsor.

According to a filing notice released by the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission on August 14, Transsion Holdings intends to issue no more than 132 million overseas-listed ordinary shares and list them on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

In the first half of this year, the company achieved revenue of 35.431 billion yuan, up 21.85% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 1.773 billion yuan, up 46.22% year on year; and non-GAAP net profit was 1.48 billion yuan, up 64.98% year on year.
