Through folk garden tours, convenience markets, and home visits, they join residents in a reunion gathering, conveying community warmth and delivering festive joy and care to residents' doorsteps, letting neighborhood warmth flow everywhere during the holiday.

Fun Garden Tours Celebrate Mid-Autumn, Endless Joy in Folk Experiences

The Hongwei Neighborhood Committee of Haiwan Town launched a "Welcome National Day, Celebrate Reunion" themed fun sports and cultural activity. Long lines formed in front of the lively ring-toss game, with residents aiming intently and tossing with raised hands as cheers rose and fell.

At the sachet handcraft station, everyone filled spices and tied colorful cords, personally making fragrant Mid-Autumn sachets to express good wishes for peace and smoothness. The lantern riddle area was crowded with people, as more than a hundred riddles covering traditional culture and everyday knowledge drew residents to ponder alone or discuss in groups.

The event also featured a mooncake tasting segment, where everyone shared sweet mooncakes, chatted about daily life, and enjoyed the fun of reunion together. The Mingcheng Neighborhood Committee of Haiwan Town kicked off its Mid-Autumn garden party with great excitement.

Lanterns hung high on site and riddle slips swayed in the wind. Traditional games such as pitch-pot, sandbag throwing, chopstick marble pickup, and lantern riddle guessing appeared one after another. Residents participated in each activity in an orderly way, gaining laughter through playful competition and drawing neighbors closer through interaction, immersing themselves in the unique charm of traditional folk customs.

The Jiangshan Community of Haiwan Town held a civilized practice activity titled "Full Moon Mid-Autumn Gathers Jiangshan, Neighbors Rejoice Together to Talk Reunion." Jade Rabbit fishing for radishes, fun ring toss, and lantern riddle guessing were full of interest, and residents eagerly took on the challenges as laughter filled the scene.

The handmade tote bag DIY was deeply loved by everyone, with residents cutting fabric and decorating accessories to make their own festive handicrafts, experiencing a sense of holiday ritual through skillful creation. The event also collected residents' opinions and suggestions on community governance, discussing a better future for the community together.

Convenience Markets Full of Bustling Warmth, Services Benefit People and Warm Hearts

The Yunying Community of Haiwan Town launched the "Full of Love for Mid-Autumn, Love in Yunying" Mid-Autumn themed convenience market, integrating convenience services, safety education, folk games, and holiday visits. Market stalls were dazzling, with free haircuts, knife sharpening, and blood pressure checks truly solving residents' daily life problems.

At booths for anti-drug, anti-fraud, and financial education, staff explained practical knowledge such as preventing scams and identifying new types of drugs, building a strong community safety line. Traditional games like pitch-pot and ring toss began joyfully, with adults and children joining in together.

On one hand, the community distributed mooncakes at the market site; on the other hand, it organized staff to visit elderly and solitary seniors door to door, delivering condolence supplies and holiday greetings, ensuring services did not fall behind and care was not absent, spreading Mid-Autumn warmth both online and offline.

Heartwarming Visits Deliver Care, Respecting Elders Makes the Bond Stronger

The warmth of Mid-Autumn was also delivered to the homes of special elderly groups. The Wusi Zhonggang Neighborhood Committee of Haiwan Town held a Mid-Autumn themed get-together and visiting activity. At the gathering, residents sang and danced, rejoicing together and sharing neighborhood bonds.

After the gathering, staff and volunteers brought mooncakes to visit solitary residents over 80, elderly residents over 90, and elderly people living alone in the jurisdiction. They carefully asked about the elders' health and living conditions, reminding them to keep warm as the seasons changed and to stay safe at home, delivering holiday blessings to their hearts.

Volunteers from the Jiangshan Community of Haiwan Town carried out visiting actions, calling on senior party members, people with disabilities, solitary elderly residents, and elderly people in difficulty, sending Mid-Autumn pastries, listening face to face to the voices of the people, and conveying the deep warmth of the community family.
