Prudential plc (PRU) announced that the scrip reference price for its 2026 first interim dividend has been fixed at US$13.193810 per new ordinary share.
The reference price was calculated as the average middle-market price of Prudential’s London-listed shares over the five trading days starting Sep, 10 2026 (the ex-dividend date) and converted into US dollars using the mid-point WMR spot exchange rate at around 11:00 a.m. on Sep, 16 2026.
As previously disclosed on Aug, 27 2026, Prudential is offering shareholders a scrip dividend alternative for the first interim dividend of 8.88 US cents per ordinary share. To elect for the scrip option, investors must have held at least 149 ordinary shares on the record date of Sep, 11 2026.
