According to Zhitong Finance APP, CHERVON (02285) surged over 7% in afternoon trading. As of press time, it was up 6.55% at HK$26.66, with a turnover of HK$48.1284 million.

On the news front, in September, CHERVON completed two consecutive major senior management appointments, comprehensively upgrading its core leadership team. Following the appointment of industry legend Joseph Galli Jr. as Chief Executive Officer at the beginning of the month, the group further brought in Matthew H. DeFeo, a veteran expert with four decades of industry experience, as Senior Vice President of Sales, Training and Recruitment. He will report directly to Galli Jr., forming a complete closed loop of "strategic decision-making plus execution on the ground."

HSBC previously issued a research report stating that during Galli's tenure at Techtronic Industries from 2008 to 2024, Techtronic's revenue and net profit recorded compound annual growth rates of 9.5% and 27.7% respectively. The bank believes his experience can bring a positive impact to CHERVON. The bank expects medium-term growth to accelerate under the new CEO's leadership, with the next catalyst being Galli presenting future growth and transformation plans to investors.
