Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited (BJ ENT WATER) disclosed that it repurchased 150,000 ordinary shares on 30 September 2026 via on-market transactions at a uniform price of HKD 1.55 per share, bringing the total cash consideration to approximately HKD 0.23 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined to 10.05 billion shares, down from 10.05 billion previously, representing a marginal reduction of 0.0015%. Treasury shares doubled to 300,000, while the aggregate number of shares in issue, including treasury shares, remained unchanged at 10.05 billion.
The buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 27 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 1.00 billion shares. To date, 300,000 shares—equivalent to 0.003% of the outstanding share count at mandate approval—have been repurchased under this authority.
In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, BJ ENT WATER is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 30 October 2026.
