Green Tea Group Limited released its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026, showing a strong top- and bottom-line performance driven by network expansion and booming delivery sales.

Financial Highlights • Revenue rose 16.8% year-on-year to RMB 2.67 billion, supported by a 14.6% increase in restaurant operations revenue to RMB 2.01 billion and a 24.1% jump in delivery service revenue to RMB 650.51 million. • Profit before tax advanced 23.0% to RMB 341.68 million, while net profit attributable to shareholders climbed 24.4% to RMB 290.78 million. • Adjusted net profit (non-IFRS) reached RMB 293.76 million, up 16.9%, maintaining an adjusted net margin of 11.0%. • Other revenue, mainly interest and investment income, increased 28.6% to RMB 16.61 million. • Cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB 1.18 billion; the Group remains debt-free, with no outstanding bank loans. • Total assets grew 6.4% to RMB 4.04 billion; total liabilities expanded 20.3% to RMB 2.46 billion, primarily on higher lease liabilities and accrued dividends. Equity fell 9.7% to RMB 1.58 billion after dividend declarations and share buy-backs.

Operational Performance • The restaurant network expanded to 733 outlets across 163 Chinese cities plus Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia, up from 502 a year ago. The Group opened 131 new stores during the period. • Overseas markets delivered revenue of RMB 162.8 million, up 266.5% year-on-year. • Same-store sales declined 9.7%, reflecting softer consumer sentiment and a deliberate shift to smaller-format stores; average daily sales per store fell to RMB 16,800 from RMB 20,000 a year earlier. • Despite rapid expansion, raw-material costs were held at 31.2% of revenue versus 32.0% a year ago; staff costs remained stable at 26.1% of revenue.

Dividend and Capital Management The Board declared the Group’s first interim dividend of HK$0.30 per share, payable on or before 23 November 2026 to shareholders on record as of 6 November 2026. During the half, the company also repurchased 13.41 million shares for HK$106.49 million and held 15.00 million shares as treasury stock at period-end.

Strategic Outlook Management reiterated its three-pillar strategy of health orientation—emphasising high-quality, traceable ingredients—digitalisation through a data-driven operations platform and AI-enabled tools, and international expansion starting in Southeast Asia. Capital expenditure reached RMB 168.80 million, predominantly for new restaurants, while HKD 420.20 million of IPO proceeds remain earmarked for further growth initiatives, including new outlets, a central processing facility and IT upgrades.

Governance and ESG During the period, the company maintained full compliance with Hong Kong’s Corporate Governance Code, save for the combined roles of chairman and CEO held by founder Wang Qinsong, which the Board believes ensures strategic continuity. Independent non-executive directors comprise one-third of the Board, and an interim review of the accounts was completed by auditor KPMG with no qualifications.

With robust cash reserves, zero bank debt, and continued network expansion, Green Tea Group positions itself for sustained growth while rewarding shareholders through its inaugural interim dividend.
