Vaxcyte said on Monday its experimental pneumococcal vaccine met its main goals in a late-stage study ​in adults aged 50 and older, sending ‌its shares up 47.1% in morning trading.

Swiss drugmaker Roche will pay up to $1.27 billion to license Alector's experimental treatment for ​Parkinson's disease, the US biotech said ‌on Monday, sending its shares surging 32% in morning trading.

Vistra Energy shares jumped 1.8% in morning trading. The US will lend Vistra Corp about $4.2 billion to boost its nuclear power generation, a person familiar with the matter ​said on Saturday.
