CMBC Capital conducts HKD0.29 million on-market buyback; issued share count steady at 1.10 billion

CMBC Capital Holdings Limited reported that its issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.10 billion ordinary shares as of 23 September 2026, according to the company’s latest Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. No treasury shares were held at period-end.

On 23 September 2026, the company repurchased 480,000 shares on the Exchange at prices ranging between HKD0.59 and HKD0.61 per share, for a total consideration of HKD0.29 million. The volume-weighted average price of the transaction was approximately HKD0.60 per share. All repurchased shares are designated for cancellation.

Including the latest transaction, CMBC Capital has bought back an aggregate 3.01 million shares between 27 July and 23 September 2026 under the current mandate approved on 26 June 2026. The cumulative repurchases represent 2.74% of the company’s issued share base on the mandate date, against an authorisation limit of 109.70 million shares.

Under Hong Kong listing regulations, CMBC Capital is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 23 October 2026 following the latest buyback. The company confirmed that all repurchases complied with Main Board Rule 10.06 and that no material changes have been made to the explanatory statement dated 3 June 2026.
