Hong Kong-listed Nimble Holdings announced that its 72.4%-owned U.S. subsidiary, Emerson Radio Corp., reported a smaller loss for the three months ended 30 June 2026, supported by a sharp improvement in gross margin despite lower sales.
Revenue and Profitability • Net revenues fell 37.07% year on year to USD 1.05 million, as net product sales declined 41.53% to USD 0.93 million. • Licensing income grew 45.35% to USD 0.13 million, partially offsetting weaker product demand. • Cost of sales dropped 67.92% to USD 0.53 million, lifting gross profit to USD 0.52 million from USD 0.01 million a year earlier and expanding gross margin to 49.3% (3M 2025: 0.7%). • Selling, general and administrative expenses were trimmed by 8.64% to USD 1.21 million. • Operating loss narrowed to USD 0.69 million from USD 1.31 million, while net loss halved to USD 0.57 million (3M 2025: USD 1.14 million). Loss per share improved to USD 0.03 from USD 0.05.
Balance Sheet Highlights (30 June 2026 vs 31 March 2026) • Cash and cash equivalents stood at USD 5.31 million (down USD 3.88 million), while short-term investments increased to USD 6.17 million (up USD 3.03 million), giving total liquid assets of USD 11.48 million. • Inventory rose 18.35% to USD 4.89 million, contributing to a 2.07% decline in total current assets to USD 17.75 million. • Total assets decreased slightly to USD 18.21 million, whereas total liabilities inched up to USD 1.58 million, keeping the equity ratio high at 91.3%. • Shareholders’ equity slipped to USD 16.63 million, reflecting the quarterly net loss.
Capital Structure Emerson maintains a conservative balance sheet with minimal debt: operating and finance lease liabilities total USD 0.29 million, and accounts payable plus other current liabilities amount to USD 1.28 million. The company continues to hold 31.92 million treasury shares, representing roughly 60% of issued share capital.
