Mongolian Mining Corporation disclosed on 25 September 2026 that it repurchased 300,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day, paying between HK$8.60 and HK$8.80 per share for a total consideration of HK$2.62 million.
Including additional market purchases of 300,000 shares on 23 September and 900,000 shares on 24 September, the company has accumulated 1.50 million shares pending cancellation over the three-day period at a volume-weighted average cost of HK$8.70 per share, equivalent to a cash outlay of roughly HK$13.06 million.
Outstanding share capital remains at 1.03 billion shares because none of the repurchased stock had been cancelled as at 25 September. Treasury share balance is unchanged at zero.
Since receiving shareholder authorisation on 21 May 2026 to buy back up to 103.42 million shares, Mongolian Mining has repurchased 13.85 million shares, representing 1.34 % of the total shares in issue on the mandate date.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, the latest on-market buyback triggers a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales, carrying through to 25 October 2026.
