STANCHART Deploys USD 451.45 Million in Buy-back, Reacquires 1.81 Million Shares in Latest Five-Day Tranche

Standard Chartered PLC (STANCHART, “SC”) disclosed that between 21 and 25 September 2026 it repurchased 1,808,828 ordinary shares of USD 0.50 each as part of the share buy-back programme launched on 29 July 2026. All purchases were executed by Goldman Sachs International across the London Stock Exchange, CBOE BXE and CBOE CXE.

Key transaction metrics • Share volume: 1.81 million shares • Price range: 2,246.00–2,341.00 pence per share • Daily volume-weighted average prices: 2,267.00–2,327.74 pence per share

Cumulative progress Including the latest tranche, SC has allocated USD 451.45 million to repurchases since the initiation of the programme. Transactions have been conducted within pre-set parameters and in line with UK and EU market-abuse regulations.
