AVICHINA (02357) Surges Over 5% in Late Trading as Z-10ME Attack Helicopter Debuts at Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo

AVICHINA (02357) rose more than 5% in late trading. As of press time, the stock was up 4.87% at HK$3.12, with a turnover of HK$122 million.

On the news front, on September 16, the 13th Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo (AAD2026) officially opened at Waterkloof Air Force Base in Pretoria, South Africa, where AVIC Helicopter's Z-10ME, Z-11, and AC332 models were showcased.

Everbright Securities noted that AVIC Helicopter is the overall listing platform for the helicopter business under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, and is also an important enterprise in China's low-altitude economy, with a complete industrial chain foundation and deep alignment with the national low-altitude economy strategy.

Public information shows that AVICHINA is the overseas capital operation platform under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, having built a full industrial chain system covering aviation complete aircraft, supporting systems, and aviation engineering services.

It is reported that AVICHINA's subsidiaries mainly include: AVIC Helicopter (approximately 53.6% stake), Hongdu Aviation (approximately 43.8% stake), AVIC Jonhon Optronic (approximately 36.7% stake), and AVIC Airborne Systems (approximately 16.5% stake).
