WEIGAO GROUP Buys Back 0.34 Million H-Shares at HK$3.63 Average, Treasury Stock Rises to 52.29 Million Shares

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited (WEIGAO GROUP) disclosed that it repurchased 340,000 H-shares on 21 April 2026 through on-market transactions. The shares were bought at prices ranging between HK$3.61 and HK$3.67, with a volume-weighted average price of HK$3.63, for a total consideration of HK$1.23 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined marginally by 0.0076% to 4.47 billion shares. Treasury shares increased from 51.95 million to 52.29 million, while the total issued share count remained unchanged at 4.52 billion.

The buyback was executed under the general mandate approved on 27 May 2025, which authorises repurchases of up to 451.56 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 45.64 million shares, equivalent to 10.11% of the company’s outstanding shares at the time the mandate was granted.

All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock; none have been cancelled. In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, WEIGAO GROUP is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales until 22 May 2026.
