Bonjour Holdings Limited released a positive profit alert indicating a turnaround to an estimated HK$8.00 million net profit for the 12 months ended 30 June 2026 (FY2026), compared with a HK$278.00 million net loss reported for the preceding 18-month period to 30 June 2025.

Management attributes the swing to three main factors:

1. Fair value gains: The Group expects to book a gain on its stake in CR Business Innovation Investment Fund L.P., driven by the rising market value of the fund’s Tsuen Wan property. In the previous period, this investment generated a HK$47.70 million fair value loss.

2. One-off losses absent: FY2026 results will not include the HK$59.10 million loss from an investment in a joint venture or the HK$46.90 million loss from a deemed disposal of a joint venture that weighed on the comparative period.

3. Operational improvement: Loss from operations narrowed sharply to approximately HK$18.00 million versus HK$99.80 million in the prior period, while finance and other expenses declined to about HK$16.30 million from HK$24.00 million.

The company noted that FY2026 covers 12 months, whereas the comparative period spanned 18 months, a factor to consider when interpreting year-on-year movements. Valuation work on the fund’s property asset is ongoing; final figures may differ when audited results are published on 30 September 2026.

Bonjour Holdings advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities until the audited results are released.
