RIBOLIFE-B (Suzhou Ribo Life Science Co., Ltd.) reported a sharp turnaround for the six months ended 30 June 2026, underpinned by new global licensing deals and January’s Hong Kong IPO.

Revenue reached RMB 419.74 million, a 304.3% jump from RMB 103.81 million a year earlier, driven chiefly by collaboration income of RMB 407.25 million, including the February 2026 US$60 million upfront from Madrigal Pharmaceuticals and milestone receipts from Boehringer Ingelheim. Gross profit climbed to RMB 400.71 million, lifting the margin to 95.5%.

Total operating expenses rose as R&D spending expanded 53.0% to RMB 197.60 million and administrative costs increased 20.9% to RMB 62.96 million. A RMB 62.65 million foreign-exchange loss pushed other expenses to RMB 67.66 million. Even so, the company delivered a profit before tax of RMB 78.55 million and a net profit of RMB 23.45 million, reversing the prior-year net loss of RMB 97.77 million. Basic and diluted earnings per share were RMB 0.12, versus a loss per share of RMB 0.68 in H1 2025.

January’s Hong Kong listing injected HK$1.96 billion (approximately RMB 1.80 billion), propelling cash and bank balances to RMB 2.24 billion at end-June from RMB 0.41 billion at 31 December 2025. Total assets expanded to RMB 2.82 billion, while total equity rose to RMB 1.84 billion. The gearing ratio fell to 23.9% from 120.6% six months earlier.

Net operating cash inflow reached RMB 213.34 million, compared with a RMB 96.47 million outflow a year ago, reflecting higher collaboration receipts. Capital expenditures were modest at RMB 3.31 million, mostly for R&D equipment.

The company allocated 37.4% of IPO proceeds toward late-stage development of vortosiran (RBD4059), its core FXI-targeting siRNA anticoagulant, which reported 92% mean maximum FXI activity reduction in a completed Swedish phase 2a trial. Phase 2b studies in atrial fibrillation stroke prevention and venous thromboembolism have been cleared by the EMA. RIBOLIFE-B is also advancing RBD5044 (APOC3 siRNA) in phase 2, RBD1016 (HBV/HDV siRNA) in global phase 2 and preparing phase 3 trials for PCSK9 siRNA RBD7022 in partnership with Qilu Pharmaceutical. Overall, seven internally discovered siRNA candidates are in clinical development and more than 20 programs remain pre-clinical.

Post period-end, the company repurchased 569,400 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and 1,057,000 H shares through its trustee in July 2026, spending HK$94.11 million in total.

No interim dividend was declared.
