Angang Steel Proposes Amendments to Articles of Association to Broaden Operating Scope

Bulletin Express
Sep 18

Angang Steel Company Limited announced that its board has approved proposed amendments to Article 13 of the Articles of Association to align the group’s registered business scope with operational needs and updated regulatory classifications issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation.

The revised scope adds four general business activities—production and supply of tap water, production and supply of heat, electronic weighing services and land-use-right leasing—and incorporates three licensed items now required for the company’s ongoing operations: production of steel bars for construction, manufacture of special equipment and filling of mobile pressure vessels and gas cylinders. Existing business descriptions will also be updated to meet the latest regulatory terminology.

These amendments have been endorsed by the board and will be presented for shareholder approval by special resolution at the company’s second extraordinary general meeting in 2026. A detailed circular, including the EGM notice, will be published in due course.

Except for the updated business scope, all other provisions of the Articles remain unchanged. The Chinese version of the amended Articles will prevail in case of discrepancies with the English reference version.
