Greentown Service Executes 228,000-Share Buyback, Issues 11,125 New Shares on Option Exercise

Greentown Service Group Co. Ltd. reported to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that on 29 September 2026 it repurchased 228,000 ordinary shares and issued 11,125 new shares under its employee share-option scheme.

The on-market repurchase represents 0.0073% of the company’s 3.11 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction. Shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 4.175 to HKD 4.26, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 4.1984, bringing total cash outflow to HKD 0.96 million. All repurchased shares are being held as treasury stock, lifting the treasury balance to 44.89 million shares.

The share buyback was carried out under the mandate granted on 18 June 2026, which permits repurchases of up to 313.14 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now stand at 22.36 million shares, equivalent to 0.71% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date, leaving capacity for a further 290.78 million shares.

Concurrently, 11,125 new ordinary shares (0.0004% of pre-event issued shares) were allotted at an exercise price of HKD 3.494 each following the exercise of employee options granted under the share option scheme adopted on 16 June 2023. This small issuance raised approximately HKD 0.04 million.

Post-transactions, Greentown Service’s issued shares (excluding treasury stock) decreased to 3.11184 billion, while total issued shares edged up to 3.15673 billion on account of the option exercise. The company is subject to a 30-day moratorium, ending 29 October 2026, on further share issues or treasury-share sales under Hong Kong listing rules.
