TenNor Therapeutics reported a RMB64.25 million net loss for the six months ended 30 June 2026, an improvement of 17.9% from the RMB78.17 million loss in the prior-year period.

Research & development spending rose 19.0% year-on-year to RMB31.32 million, reflecting accelerated clinical activities. Administrative expenses nearly doubled to RMB32.01 million, driven mainly by Hong Kong listing costs and additional share-based compensation.

The biotech had no commercial revenue during the Reporting Period but strengthened its balance sheet following its Main Board debut on 22 May 2026. Net IPO proceeds of HK$598.30 million lifted cash and cash equivalents to RMB714.73 million at period-end, up from RMB183.77 million at 31 December 2025. Total equity increased to RMB654.88 million from RMB153.86 million.

Pipeline milestones included: • Core product rifasutenizol, a first-in-class therapy for Helicobacter pylori infection, entered the National Medical Products Administration’s supplementary review phase. • Core product rifaquizinone completed last-patient enrolment in a Phase Ib/IIa intra-articular study for prosthetic joint infection; Phase IIb multi-centre trial clearance was obtained from the NMPA. • Key product TNP-2092 oral formulation finished three Phase I studies and one Phase II study in China, with formulation optimisation underway. • Pre-clinical candidate TNP-1232 advanced to pre-clinical development, and a new gut–brain axis project (TNBm-2) commenced lead identification in July 2026.

Commercially, TenNor continues to prepare rifasutenizol’s China launch through its exclusive collaboration with Grand Life Science and has begun pharmacoeconomic studies to support National Reimbursement Drug List inclusion in 2027. The company is also building a manufacturing facility in Zhongshan, Guangdong, slated for 2028 start-up, while initial commercial supply will rely on contract development and manufacturing organisations.

TenNor confirmed no interim dividend distribution and reported no material post-period events.
