AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased 30,000 ordinary shares on 23 September 2026 through on-market transactions at HKD 4.905 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 147,150. The repurchased shares will be held as treasury shares rather than cancelled.
Following the transaction, the company’s treasury stock increased to 32.58 million shares, while issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) fell to 1.07740 billion—down 0.0028 % from the previous day’s 1.07743 billion. The buyback forms part of a broader mandate approved by shareholders on 17 June 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 112.46 million shares. Including the latest transaction, AK Medical has acquired 48.14 million shares, equivalent to 4.28 % of the company’s outstanding shares at the mandate date. In line with regulatory requirements, AK Medical is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 23 October 2026.
The board confirmed that all repurchases complied with Hong Kong listing regulations and other applicable legal and regulatory provisions.
