China Property Investment Plans to Issue 53.343 Million Subscription Shares at Approximately 5.6% Premium

China Property Investment (00736) has announced that on September 18, 2026, after trading hours, the company entered into seven separate subscription agreements with seven independent third-party individuals. Under these agreements, the company conditionally agreed to allot and issue, while the subscribers conditionally agreed to subscribe for, a total of 53.343 million subscription shares at a price of HK$0.188 per share.

The total of 53.343 million subscription shares represents approximately 16.67% of the existing issued shares as of the announcement date, and approximately 14.29% of the issued shares after the allotment and issuance of the subscription shares. The subscription price of HK$0.188 per share represents a premium of approximately 5.6% over the closing price of HK$0.178 per share as quoted on the Stock Exchange on September 18, 2026 (Hong Kong time, being the date of the subscription agreements).

The company intends to use the net proceeds from the placement to repay the group's interest-bearing borrowings.
